From a mom’s dream to share the world with her son,

a whole world took shape

Our story

As a soon-to-be mom, I stared at my growing belly and whispered, “You… deserve the world..”

I couldn’t help but dream of introducing my child to the beauty this world holds. I wanted him to grow up believing the world is welcoming, kind, and within reach. That desire became the seed of this company.

Birthing a baby & a business

It was a wild idea:
Mama Earth, as our playground.

Travel had shaped so much of who I was. It opened doors to friendships, opportunities, lessons, and awe-inspiring experiences. But I couldn’t find books out there that truly did travel justice — and that fueled the inspiration.

With a map and a dream, I started writing and sketching for a baby still growing in my belly. I spent those months giving life to a concept where the planet itself becomes the playground. I imagined stories, themes, and playful narratives designed to fill his childhood with awe, curiosity, and a wide-open view of the world.

Books and games began to take shape — ones that introduced him to global cultures, languages, and places in a way that felt enchanting, inspiring, and breathtaking. Not didactic. And even to my surprise, what started as a personal project quickly became a full collection of travel-inspired books for all little adventurers to learn through a global lens.

Why “You had me at…”?

Let’s just say…
Hawaii made me do it.

Many years ago, before I had a child, I went island-hopping in Hawaii. As cliché as it may sound, it was love at first sight. Actually, love at first sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. The food, charm, culture, music, rainbows, waterfalls, cliffs — and especially the native language — it all lit up my soul. I left that magical land thinking: Hawaii, you had me at... Aloha.

Years later, pregnant and planning a babymoon (that final hooray before welcoming a baby), there was no question where I’d go. With my OB’s green light, I returned to Hawaii — this time, for my baby’s very first adventure. With him in the womb, I fulfilled two dreams I had carried for years: sailing along Kauai’s Nā Pali Coast and watching the sunrise over Haleakalā in Maui.

But that trip was about more than checking boxes. It was my way of proving that dreams are meant to be lived. That it’s never too early to travel. That travel never gets old. And that motherhood doesn’t mark the end of life as I knew it — it’s the beginning of a new kind of adventure.

And once again, those islands made me whisper the same words: You had me at Aloha. That moment gave our brand its name.

Travel… and so much more

A love letter to the places that take our breath away, give us goosebumps, and get a hold of our souls.

It all started with a single concept: travel guides filled with language, history, fun facts, and culture. Our signature Travel Series features friendly greetings as titles, ranging from Olá to Konnichiwa to Bonjour! It’s our way to transport children and their grownups across the globe and turn storytime into a passport to adventure.

But the idea didn’t stop there. The more we created, the more the universe expanded.

We introduced an Educational Series featuring ABCs, 123s, and colors — so kids can learn early concepts through a global lens. These books and games embrace play-based learning, teach first words, and celebrate history, landmarks, cuisine, and the people who’ve shaped the world.

Then came our Themed Books — from Ahoy for little boaters to Roar for dino dreamers, Vrum Vrum for tiny speedsters to Big Bang for space explorers. Built on our love for language, this series turns onomatopoeias and sounds into playful titles that bring kids’ favorite topics to life.

And there’s so much more we’re cooking up to help raise a generation that’s curious, kind, and connected to the world. Stay tuned!
